The range of Cedar side hinged garage doors are an alternative option to the Up and Over method of doors giving a more traditional style of garage door.
These are traditionally constructed with solid cedar stiles and rails, with panels of either plywood or solid cedar, all joints are morticed and tenoned, glued and wedged which is the strongest joint method in door construction.
Doors are available in made to measure sizes from 6ft to 10ft wide by 5ft 6ins to 8ft high, with choice of hardware combinations to suit your style. The standard is a finger pull and yale type lock with spare key where they meet in the centre. You can choose to have strap hinges or butt hinges at the sides.
The choice of timber stain and finish enables you to match this in with your home, or you can ask for this to be delivered in a basecoat stain for you to do it yourself in your own choice of stain afterwards.
Timber is a natural insulator and you will find that this gives more of a temperature barrier than a single skin steel set of doors for your home.

All Cedar doors are delivered with a polythene shrink-wrap protection which should be left on just prior to site coatings applications. It is recommended that you do not puncture the polythene shrink-wrap before installation. Prior to installation doors must not be stored in direct sunlight. Do not expose the doors to water contamination of any description/or staining may result.
The Cedar Range of Traditional Side Hinged doors come complete with 4mm toughened safety glass with the option of plain or stippled glazing. You can either have plain windows with no leading, diamond leading or square leading. Or Stippled windows with no leading, diamond leading or square leading.
