Available in four designs (two panelled - Oxford, Hampton; two ribbed - Tuscan, Madison), the Panel-Glide range is a visually captivating and high quality garage door manufactured using a very strong galvanized steel.
Despite distributing worldwide, all Gliderol doors are manufactured in the United Kingdom in both single skin non-insulated panels and 42mm double skin insulated panels. These are available in the standard manual operation with an attractive handle or the luxurious automatic operation with remote control and the easy to use Glidermatic GTS Optima operator.

Utilising a vertically opening panel system located behind the structural opening and suspended horizontally from the ceiling, the Panel-Glide sectional door allows full use of the driveway for parking. Each door is available in a selection of low maintenance laminate or polyester coated colours.
All Gliderol garage doors and remote control door openers supplied in the UK are CE tested and marked to meet European Union standards ensuring that a Gliderol Panel-Glide garage door provides high levels of safety and security at all times.
The Gliderol range of steel sectional garage doors come in two different construction formats; the Safe-T-Glide and Insul-Glide.
Safe-T-Glide

The Safe-T-Glide is a single skin steel panel. It's thin construction means it provides less insulation and security than the Insul-Glide model.

The Insul-Glide is a 42mm thick fully insulated steel panel.

Hampton The Gliderol Hampton design includes the natural look of timber with the reliable strength of steel. The Hampton is given a visually smart image due to a highly modern parallel rectangular embossment design. This is achieved during manufacture in which minimal distortion to the steel is accomplished. Tuscan The Tuscan provides a timber-planked style door which is constructed using low maintenance polyester and laminate steel - perfect for gaining the visual beauty of timber combined with the strength and durability of steel. Gliderol Sectional Remote Control Electric Operation
The Glidermatic GTS Optima is the easy to use and easy to install garage door operator. It flourishes with an unrivalled design which makes it a necessity for any household garage door.
It consists of a highly powerful motor assembly (1000N) and a heavy-duty transformer (175 VA) within its smooth and modern chrome/white exterior which helps to operate any size of residential door with ease.
It is also partnered by a toothed belt and 24v low voltage motor which assists in providing whisper quiet operation at all times. It's fully enclosed steel shaft ensures working parts are not exposed and remain out of harms way.
The GTS Optima can be installed with most new and existing one-piece or sectional garage doors. Due to the minimal number of parts required, installation is quick and free of hassle.
The Gliderol Glidermatic GTS Optima also provides the following:
- Safety Reversing automatically offers a reverse function should an obstruction restrict the downward cycle of the door.
Soft Start/Soft Stop offers system which provides a slow start and slow finish combined with a fast opening speed.- Environmentally Friendly LED Lighting can fully illuminate your garage when the operator unit is in motion.
- Power Activation Sensors regulate and automatically adjust the power of the motor to open and close efficiently.
- Automatic Closing can be set to automatically close the door after 90 seconds.
- Manual Release is also available to manually operate the door should a power failure occur.
- Low Maintenance is achieved by using a hard wearing nylon gearing mechanism which ensures a long operational life.
- GTS Transmitter can operate up to 3 doors / 2 doors and a gate / home alarm system setting. The UHF transmitter usually operates in a line of sight operation for safety benefits. An additional feature of the handset is the facility to use the handset to set the up and down door limits.
