Installation

Q: Do you install the doors?
A: No, we supply and deliver doors only. However we do have many skilled garage door installer contacts who will gladly install the door and/or operator for you. Email us your details and we can co-ordinate an installer to speak to you direct.

Q: Are installation instructions provided?
A: Yes all doors and electric operators are supplied with full installation instructions. If they are not clear you can always ask us for assistance and advice.

Clearance Doors

Q: Where are the clearance doors from?
A: They are genuine cancelled orders, slightly damaged returns, incorrectly ordered or end of line garage doors from the many thousands we sell each year to trade and end users.

Q: How bad is the damage on the doors?
A: We take a simple view on damaged doors - if it is bad enough for us to completely reject we will destroy the door - so if they are damaged it is never that bad. A good clean or restain on timber doors and they will usually look as good as new, small scratches on steel doors can be T cut using a car paintwork system. GRP doors with scratches can be touched up with shoe polish appropriate to the shade of door colour. A lot of the doors have simply been in stock for a longer period of time than usual because they are odd sizes or colours but will always clean up perfectly ok.

Delivery

Q: How are the doors delivered?
A: They are always delivered by either the manufacturer or ourselves in specialised transport vehicles. The smaller items such as the remote control operators and accessories are delivered by post.

Q: Can I collect the doors myself?
A: Yes you can, from our warehouse in Warwick by prior arrangement and of course no delivery charges.

Q: How do I find out the delivery time for the doors?
A: Go to our delivery page in the left hand menu under 'General Information' and most of the delivery times as given by manufacturers are shown there. Bear in mind we will always try for an earlier delivery if required and if the product is in stock it can also be collected.

Q: Do you deliver outside the UK?
A: Yes. The price for this service is based on the weight and size of each item as required. We can deliver most products anywhere in the world and the products are packaged accordingly

Prices

Q: How do your prices compare to other website companies?
A: We hope whatever we have available on our website is very competitive but if you do find the exact same specification door or accessory cheaper eleswhere then we will gladly discuss matching the price and beating it if possible.

Q: Do you offer extra discount for quantity orders?
A: Yes we have many trade accounts ordering volumes of doors and we can set up special rates for quantities of regular door and operator orders. Each product is looked at on an individual basis to ensure you get the best deal

Trade Accounts

Q: Can I buy products from your site on a credit account?
A: Yes, we have many trade account customers and if you buy in quantity we can offer further discounts on most of the products. Simply fill in our 'Trade Application form' and tell us a bit about what you want to purchase and the quantities and we will get back to you with an offer.

Q: Do you trade with other garage door companies?
A: Yes, we have many garage door companies purchasing doors and associated products from us as we can offer excellent prices with our large levels of stock and purchasing terms.

Ordering

Q: What happens when I order a purpose made door?
A: All new doors ordered on our website will be confirmed by email before we fully process the order so you can confirm we have interpreted your requirements and sizes correctly. Once you have ordered via our shop or calculator sytem we will send a more detailed email confirming all the details for you to check.

Q: The checkout price seems different to the shop price?
A: Our online shop and calculator system is very large and complex and occasionally some gremlins find their way in and give varied results. We do monitor our system regularly but if you see something not adding up simply proceed with the order and we will always confirm the details before processing fully so the price difference would be detected and corrected. If you do not wish to proceed you can call or email your order to us. Again we will confirm the order details by return
