Novoferm offer a very different automation solution for up and over garage doors and sectional doors. A specially designed electric motor is attached directly to the top of the sectional or up and over door panel and drives the garage door up and down without the requirement of a long ceiling mounted boom and carriage system. This enables a very neat installation when the door is closed and also enables automation when space is restricted inside the garage. The electric motor is contained within the operating space of the manual door sono extra room is required for the electric option.
