A larger garage deserves a door designed for the opening, not a compromise to fit a smaller product range. Our newly added GDO ROLL 95 insulated steel roller garage door brings previous construction knowledge, made to measure sizing and convenient electric operation to garage openings up to 7000mm wide and 3500mm high.

Whether you are planning a wide triple garage or replacing a door on a substantial existing opening, the ROLL 95 gives you another option to consider. It combines the strength of a commercial derived roller door with a neat tube motor arrangement suited to a domestic garage.

It is a great alternative if you cannot use a sectional door because of internal obstacles.

Commercial origins, a cleaner garage door solution

The GDO ROLL 95 has been redesigned from a commercial and industrial roller door to create a more neatly packaged electric garage door. Tube motor technology keeps the operating arrangement clean and tidy, without losing the substantial steel curtain that makes this format suitable for larger openings.

The appeal is straightforward: a strong, generously sized roller door with the everyday convenience you expect at home. You can specify it around the garage you have, the finish you want and the way you prefer to operate the door.

A substantial 95mm insulated steel curtain

At the heart of the ROLL 95 are double skinned steel slats with a foam filled core. Each slat has a 95mm profile height, giving the curtain a larger format than the 77mm slats used in our ROLL 77 range. It is also steel as opposed to aluminium..

For a buyer considering an unusually wide opening, that heavier duty construction is a key part of the attraction. This is not simply a familiar domestic roller door offered in a few extra sizes; the ROLL 95 provides a different construction option for projects that call for something more substantial.

There is a practical consideration, too. The larger slat profile creates a larger curtain roll, so the space above and around the opening needs to be checked before ordering.

In a generously proportioned garage, that extra fitting space may be readily available. Our advice is to confirm the door arrangement early, particularly on a new build where the opening and surrounding structure are still being planned.

Remote control convenience, with smart options available

Choose the controls that suit your routine. The ROLL 95 can work with compatible Somfy RTS remote handsets, wall switches and keypads, giving you useful options for opening the garage from the car, from inside or from an external access point.

For many door sizes, Somfy motors with io technology can also be specified for smart control. Availability depends on the size and final motor specification, so tell us about any existing smart home equipment before ordering.

If connected control is important to you, make it part of the initial conversation. We can help establish which motor and control combination is appropriate rather than assume every option is available at every size.

Made to measure, finished to suit your property

Every GDO ROLL 95 is made to order to your specification, with 11 standard colours available and other colours possible at additional cost. Think about whether you want the door to complement your windows and entrance door or create a deliberate contrast with the garage frontage.

The starting point is your opening, not a standard size on a shelf. Share your required dimensions, available fitting space, preferred colour and control requirements so we can help you assess the right configuration.
