The CarTeck AutoTrend range comes with one of 2 remote control openers - the CarTeck MOTOR L60 or L75, depending on the door size required. Both motor options include 2 no. 4 channel hand transmitters, making it easy and convenient to operate your garage door remotely (up to 4 doors from one transmitter)

The L75 includes a wireless wall switch as standard.

Either of these superb electric motors include powerful LED lighting as standard within the sleek motor head design. Super quiet and super powerful electric drive.

 

Everything you need to complete an insulated electric sectional door installation is included as standard, with optional extras for when you might be installing inbetween the garage aperture and not behind.

Where the door is exposed to direct and lengthy sunlight, most darker colours should be avoided if possible.

 

Choose the colour you require for the outer steel frame system. Although many sectional garage doors are fitted behind the garage opening so you don’t see the sub frame you will still see the edge of the frame where it has a small return section. The standard colour finish is white  RAL 9016 and if any of the frame is showing or it is fitted in between you can contrast the door colour to the door panel colour if required.

Sectional garage doors were originally designed to install behind the structural opening of a garage, but it is now possible to fit the door in between the aperture if required – when there are no returns, internal obstacles, etc.

The sizes for ordering should be carefully calculated when fitting in between the opening, reducing the ordering width by the frame legs and head section along with some tolerance for fitting too. See our ‘Measure’ tab to the right for full details.

 

 

If fitting the door in between the structural opening you will need this kit to secure the steel sub frame to the opening with the special set of bracketry.

 

The Autotrend electric motor is specified depending on the door size chosen.

Any doors up to 4877mm wide will have the MOTOR LM60 and doors over 4877mm will have the LM75 model as standard. You can select to have the LM75 motor drive for your door size if required and it does have the extra wall mounted wireless wall switch and an opening speed of 200mm/sec where the LM60 is 160mm/sec.

 

Both motor options include 2 no. 4 channel hand transmitters as standard. And both motors also have built in LED lighting neatly designed into the motor head unit for powerful courtesy lighting when using the electric motor. The lighting switches off automatically after a period of time.

 

The electric motor control units’ safety circuits monitor force levels many times every second. If the door encounters an obstruction, it is instantly sensed and the motor stops and reverses a short distance. Carteck  doors and openers are independently tested and certified to all current safety legislation and carry a CE/UKCA mark.

 

You can choose to have one of these extra control options for your garage door operator:

 

Wireless Keypad for internal or external use. Set up a 4 digit pin to effortlessly access your garage without carrying a key or handset. You can also set up temporary codes for visitors.

 

Wireless 2 Channel Wall Control - A wireless 2 channel wall switch for internal use only. Operate 2 doors from this convenient and simple battery powered wall switch

 

Emergency External Release - for garages with no other entrance:

If you have no other means of access into your garage, apart from the garage door, then we strongly advise you to have an emergency manual release mechanism fitted to the door panel and externally accessible. It is a key cylinder operated from the outside of the door which provides a manual facility to disengage the electric motor drive from the door enabling the door to be lifted manually when there is a power failure or other potential issue.

 

Handle - no external handle is fitted as standard as this door is electrically operated.

• on material and manufacturing flaws of all non-moving parts of the frame that are verifiably

unusable or whose usability is substantially compromised

The guarantee does not apply to doors that are subjected to extreme conditions, e.g. corrosive influences resulting from use in a coastal climate with high salt content.
