The GDO Steel Side Hinged Doors are a stylish, low maintenance and easy to operate solution for your garage.
The long lasting powdercoated paint finish requires no further treatment. There are 12 attractive powder coated finishes available, meaning there is a finish to suit every property. The smooth powder coated finish on the door and frame can simply be wiped clean, and does not require re-painting.
For the easiest installation the steel sub frame is fitted as standard. The doors have steel bracing to the back, along with twin latches on the active leaf and shoot bolts on the inactive leaf, for peace of mind for you and your family.

Our basic range of side hinged steel garage doors. Uninsulated door panels and constructed using single skin pressed steel door panels in a simple box section steel fixing frame.
Internal steel bracing and cable driven latch locking to the top and bottom of the leading door leaf, with spring loaded shoot bolts internally for the slave door leaf.
The standard outside handle is a rounded knob with T handle internal handle and locking with flip switch. Door hinges are high grade, corrosion resistant, butt style, in a silver finish.
Choose door panel arrangements as 50/50 or 1/3rd and 2/3rd door leaf split on most door models to suit your garage layout and your own requirements. A smaller 1/3rd width pedestrian access door is perfect for any garage which is entered frequently on foot.
15 door designs to choose from with and without windows and some windows are mock windows only so please check when ordering. Glazing can be clear, stippled or mock effect and is perspex as standard
32 powdercoated colour options, applied to both the door leaves and the steel sub frame.

This door has a U value of 2.2 W/m2K as tested as a complete doorsets.
We offer the 40mm Luxe doors in some limited standard sizes for the most popular sizes and in the popular styles and colours and with a faster delivery service too.
The majority of the doors are purpose made and available in a range of various colour - modern and heritage colours.

The 50mm steel sub frame is white as standard but can be ordered to suit the optional colours available. The side hinged doors are supplied with a standard black handle and internal lock handle. Side hinged doors have high grade corrosion protected hinges for smooth operation and elimination of leaf “sag”. All doors feature a strong sub-chassis with bracing plates to ensure rigidity of the door panel. Standard doors have top and bottom cable operated lock latches to the active leaf and shoot bolts to the inactive leaf for dependable security. |
