2 RTS handsets and an internal wall mounted control panel are standard, along with leading safety edge detection for preventing closure onto any obstacles and full compliance with UK regulations on the use of electric operated doors with remote operation.

Using 77mm double skinned insulated aluminium slats this roller garage door is strong and offers good insulation in the mix too.

Made to measure sizes up to a maximum width of 5200mm including the guides either side.

Maximum height available is 2900mm, plus the height of the roll and endplates which is 300mm

The aluminium side guides are either 75mm or 90mm wide, depending on the door width ordered.

Doors over 3000mm wide will have 90mm guides as standard so the clear opening width will be 180mm less than the Ordering Width.

This door curtain is available in 3 very popular standard high quality finish colours, with a choice of white, black or anthracite guides and optional hood when ordering.

The door also has an internal manual winding handle system to operate in the event of a power failure, situated alongside the motor drive, which you can choose the side for operation when ordering. Optional low level manual override is available if you do not have another access door into your garage.

No Hood, Half Hood or Full Hood?

As standard this door has no hood cover and when fitting fully behind your garage opening you may decide to leave the curtain roll exposed.

Choose an optional half hood cover to provide you with an aluminium fascia if you are installing underneath a lintel or when installing behind a lintel and there is insufficient headroom and you need to cloak the exposed section from outside.

A full hood cover provides the best protection for the curtain rolled up inside your garage and also minimises weather ingress.

External Keyswitch

If you often access your garage from outside or have no pedestrian access to the garage then choose a wall mounted external keyswitch. Simple key operation in either direction with the impulse only for opening. Security keys and steel housing.

The GDO ROLL 77 is constructed from high quality 77mm deep double skinned aluminium slats with a foam filled core. It is a made to measure, electric operated roller garage door as standard, made to the exact millimetre in width and height.

The door is electrically remote operated as standard and incorporates an internal emergency manual release in case of a power failure. This is a winding process using a winding handle provided attaching via a hook to the eye of the motor drive. This can be specified as either on the left or right as viewed from inside the garage.

The door is supplied with 2 Somfy RTS remote handsets and an internal wall mounted control panel with inbuilt receiver for the remote controls.
The bottom slat is extruded and supplied fitted with a rubber seal system incorporating an infra red beam internally. Any obstacle is detected when the door is operating and the door will instantly stop to prevent damage or injury.

The curtain of this door rolls around a steel barrel which is supported either side by steel endplates which have a dimension of 300mm x 300mm, which is the headroom required if you wish to hide the roll. Always allow for a maximum 50mm of curtain ‘hang down’ when the door is opened if the opening height is critical to you. This is the same on all roller garage doors.

Door guides either side are either 75mm or 90mm wide and 34mm deep and the door is ordered using the ‘OVERGUIDE’ width from the total width of the curtain and guides combined.

The door can be fitted BEHIND or INBETWEEN the structural opening as required, but always check you have ordered the correct dimensions to take into account the guides and endplates (full hood cover if ordered is the same dimensions)

When there are no internal reveals to face fit to or often when there is a house wall one side and then the garage brick pier on the other side.
Inbetween installation usually means the endplates and roller door curtain are fitted underneath the lintel and then a fascia is required which can be a half or full hood cover, or you could fit your own solution as well if required.

1.1.2. GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control roller garage doors’ exterior finish is guaranteed to provide an effective weatherproof membrane that will resist perforation of the substrate from the weather side due to corrosion for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

1.1.3. Externally fitted reverse roll GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control roller garage doors will resist perforation of the substrate from the weather side due to corrosion for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Colour change or fade to the exterior surface will be limited and uniform during the guarantee.

1.1.4. GDO Roll 55 and Roll 77 Electric Button Control motors and the Genesis, Teleco Simple and C10 control units are guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

1.1.5. Somfy motors and the Rollixo control unit are guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.
