Carteck sectional doors currently has the best colour choice for insulated sectional garage doors in the UK
There are many variations on the colours offered by various manufacturers of steel insulated sectional garage doors.
Many of the colours originate from their country of origin so are often not so relevant to UK buyers or homes. The Carteck sectional door has a very wide range of standard colours available which have been developed specifically for the UK market and offer excellent high quality finishes with clear and proper manufacturer warranties. There are also laminated foil coated woodgrain effect options with super tough durability.
Choose the panel colour on either a smooth sliky finish or a woodgrain textured external surface for quite a different final finish and look to the door.

ANY Ral colour is also possible for an extra cost, but the range of standard colours available covers 98% of buyers needs in the UK.

Carteck have the best size range as standard by far, covering the most varied height options for any garage...
Sectional garage doors were designed to offer the best drive through clearances when open to maximise a garage opening for vehicles to enter and exit.
To achieve the best opening you need the door to match the opening size ideally and install to the inside face of the aperture and also the mechnism needs to provide the full height opening where possible.

Carteck steel sectional doors achieve this with their unique operating mechanism and minimal headroom requirements but they also offer the most standard height options, specifically developed for UK garage openings to avoid the use of infill timber and Upvc fillers on the side or head. Not only does a garage door look better whe it fits properly but the performance and final drive through dimensions are maximised too..
Carteck sectional garage doors offer 15 standard door ordering heights but also you can ordr as purpose made hights by the millimetre at very litlle extra cost and no difference in the delivery times either.
There are also 19 standard ordering width sizes.

Ideally a sectional garage door is fitted to the inside face of a garage opening, but many people don't have an inside return to fit to, or maybe none at all and very deep reveals too, such as on a twin garage opening with a larger central brick pier.
Many brands have multiple standard sizes to choose from for the fastest delivery and best prices in the UK. When installing behind your garage the ordering sizes should ideally match the aperture dimensions, but rarely is this the case.
So, for example a sectional door ordering size of 2286mm x 2126mm is a standard size for many brands (sometimes expressed as the imperial size 7670). If your garage opening was 2300mm x 2150mm then this door would still be fine but would be showing the fixing sub frame partially all round. This is when you need the frame to either match the door colour ro be to a colour of your choice, so be aware of this.

Alternatively if you are installing inbetween your garage opening then of corse the ordering size PLUS the outer sub frame defines the overall width and height required and your garage opening need to be slightly larger to accomodate this with some tolerance. If the opening is quite a bit larger then your packing out and additonal support might be more along with cladding to the sides and head. This is up to you to decide whether you think this is OK or not but possible none the less.
