The optional factory-fitted steel sub frames use true 60mm wide profile legs for Canopy doors and 75mm wide profile legs for Retractable doors. Because the factory steel-to-steel interface has much tighter engineering tolerances than an on-site timber frame, the internal clearance between the steel frame legs is 10mm tighter overall (5mm per side) than a timber frame opening. This gives the exact finished outside frame dimensions below:

• Steel Framed Canopy Doors (60mm Frame): Overall Width = Nominal Width + 110mm | Overall Height = Nominal Height + 58mm
• Steel Framed Retractable Doors (75mm Frame): Overall Width = Nominal Width + 140mm | Overall Height = Nominal Height + 58mm
