SeceuroGlide LT Vision Electric Roller Garage Door

The SeceuroGlide LT is an electric, insulated aluminium roller garage door designed to deliver genuine SWS UK engineering and certified safety compliance at a budget-friendly price point. It serves as a lighter specification alternative to the flagship SeceuroGlide Original, omitting secondary sound dampening webbing and specialist security attachments while retaining the same robust, double-skinned insulated aluminium curtain.

The UK market has many low cost roller door manufacturers offering cheap doors that cut corners on basic safety, often relying on illegal single infra-red beams across the opening. The SeceuroGlide LT complies fully with UK safety regulations, using an active optical bottom edge safety sensor that stops and reverses immediately if an obstruction is met.

Every door is custom manufactured down to the exact millimetre to suit your garage opening at no extra cost, rolling vertically overhead to preserve your full drive-through clearance width and driveway parking space.

Certified Safety and Remote Automation as Standard

Unlike uncertified budget doors, the SeceuroGlide LT prioritises legal domestic safety, convenience, and reliable daily operation:

  • Fully Compliant Optical Safety Edge: Fitted inside the shaped bottom rubber seal, optical light sensors instantly detect any contact with a car bumper, bicycle, or obstruction, immediately stopping and reversing the curtain.
  • Two Remote Transmitters Included: Supplied with 2 x rolling-code handheld transmitters, using encrypted transmission frequencies to prevent code grabbing by opportunist thieves.
  • Internal Emergency Manual Release: Direct winding eyelet and manual crank handle come standard on the motor side, ensuring you will never be locked in your garage during a power failure.
  • Anti-Drop Protection: Doors weighing over 26.5kg are fitted with an automatic wireless safety brake to prevent the curtain from dropping in the event of mechanical motor failure. Lighter doors under 26.5kg are supplied with an adjustable LT dummy end axle shaft.

SeceuroSense Plus Wall Mounted Control Unit

The standard automation package is powered by the intelligent SeceuroSense Plus receiver board, designed for straightforward installation and daily convenience:

  • Built-In LED Courtesy Light: Automatically illuminates your garage interior when the door opens, staying on for several minutes before turning off automatically.
  • Front Cover Push Controls: Integrated open and close push buttons allow simple internal operation without hunting for a handheld keyfob.
  • External Lighting Feed: Includes an integral relay connection supporting up to 300W of external garage or driveway lighting.
  • Visual Fault Diagnosis: Clear external LED indicator lights provide instant operational feedback and simple fault diagnosis without removing the cover.
  • Simplified Limit Setting: Limit positions can be set directly from the board using an integrated test lead for fast, accurate commissioning.
  • No Floor Magnets Required: Built-in ground exclusion circuitry ensures clean floor contact without needing messy floor-mounted magnets.
  • Optional Plug-In Alarm: Compatible with an optional acoustic alarm card housed neatly within the control enclosure to deter forced entry attempts.

Curtain Construction and Low Maintenance Finishes

The curtain is fabricated from 77mm individual twin-walled aluminium slats filled with CFC-free insulating polyurethane foam, providing rigidity, thermal performance, and draught reduction:

  • 21 Standard Factory Colours: Choose from 18 hard-wearing powder-coated solid colours (including Anthracite Grey, Black, White, Chartwell Green, and Slate Grey) or 3 painted woodgrain-effect finishes (Golden Oak, Irish Oak, and Rosewood) at no extra charge.
  • Over 30 Renolit Grained Foil Laminates: Premium textured architectural woodgrain laminates available at an additional charge to match external uPVC windows and doors.
  • Dense Brush Weatherstripping: Side guide channels are fitted with dense nylon brush pile strips that cushion curtain movement and seal against biting wind and driving rain.

Drive Upgrades & Smart Home Connectivity

For smart home automation and enhanced security feedback, the SeceuroGlide LT can be upgraded to the Somfy Rollixo Premium IO platform:

  • Integrated 100dB Tamper Alarm: Housed directly inside the Rollixo panel, sounding immediately if the curtain is forced upward from outside.
  • Two-Way Real-Time Feedback: Confirms whether your garage door is fully closed, open, or stopped directly on your smartphone screen or multi-channel remote handset.
  • Somfy Smart App & TaHoma Hub Integration: Seamlessly pairs with Somfy TaHoma switch hubs for smartphone access, scheduled opening routines, and voice assistant control via Alexa or Google Assistant.
  • Keygo Transmitters: Supplied with 2 x Somfy Keygo 4-channel IO keyfob transmitters as standard.

Practical Installation and Sizing Advice

  • Inside Face Fit vs Reveal Fit: Internal face fixing behind the piers is recommended to maximise drive-through width and clearance height. For reveal-fixed installations, keep in mind that the unhooded model leaves the rear of the coil visible unless clad on site.
  • External Manual Release Requirement: If your garage has no secondary pedestrian side door or connecting house door, an optional external low-level keyed manual release must be ordered to allow entry during a power failure.
  • LT Dummy End Adjustment: Because the LT does not use an internal counterbalance spring, SWS fits an LT dummy end on the non-motor side of the barrel. This features an adjustable internal shaft to set the axle to the exact bracket width. The shaft is intentionally stiff to pull on initial adjustment; once shifted, it moves freely into position before slotting into the endplate bracket.

* Always allow proper fitting tolerance when measuring your garage opening. A level floor across the opening gives the best bottom weather seal and the most reliable safety edge operation.

How to Order Your SeceuroGlide LT 'Vision' (Full Hood) – Options Guide

Every SeceuroGlide LT 'Vision' roller door is custom-manufactured down to the exact millimetre to suit your garage opening, combining vented/glazed vision profile slats with a fully enclosed aluminium hood box. When configuring your door online, work through the ordering steps below to select your sizes, colours, handing, fitting position, and automation upgrades.

1. Sizing: Selecting Your 'Up to' Pricing Bracket and Exact Dimensions

Our ordering menus use 'Up to' size brackets for online pricing, based on the Overall Door Width (including side guides) and the Guide Height (height from the floor to the underside of the endplates/hood box, excluding the box itself above):

  • Select Your 'Up to' Size: Choose the nearest 'up to' width and height bands from the drop-down menus that cover your overall dimensions. For example, if your required overall width is 2450mm and guide height is 2150mm, select 'Up to 2600mm' for width and 'Up to 2200mm' for height.
  • Provide Your Exact Sizes: Enter your exact required overall width and guide height into the dimension boxes when proceeding to checkout. SWS will fabricate your door to these precise measurements at no extra cost.

2. Door Curtain Colour

Choose your curtain finish from our comprehensive palette of 21 standard factory colours (18 solid powder-coated shades including Anthracite Grey, Black, White, Chartwell Green, and Slate Grey, plus 3 painted woodgrain-effect finishes: Golden Oak, Irish Oak, and Rosewood).

* If you require another bespoke colour or one of over 30 textured Renolit grained foil laminates, please call or email our team for a price.

3. Side Guide Channel Colour

The extruded aluminium guide rails are supplied in either White or Dark Brown as standard to complement your brickwork or curtain selection. Alternatively, you can select the option to have the side guides factory-finished to match your chosen door curtain colour.

4. Full Hood Cover Colour

Because this model comes complete with an aluminium top box enclosure to fully conceal the mechanism and protect the coiled slats, you can choose how it is finished:

  • Standard Hood Finishes: Supplied in satin White or Dark Brown as standard.
  • Colour-Matched Hood (21 Standard Colours): Have your full hood box factory powder-coated in any of the 21 standard colours to match your curtain slats exactly for a uniform appearance.

5. Electric Motor and Manual Override Handing

Choose which side you require the electric tubular barrel motor to be positioned on, selected as either Left-Hand Drive or Right-Hand Drive (viewed from inside the garage looking out).

The internal emergency manual release winding eyelet and crank handle are always situated on the same side as the motor unit, so ensure this side provides practical, unobstructed access inside your garage.

6. Door Installation Position & Hood Box Supports

Specify how the door will be fixed relative to your garage opening piers and lintel. On wider openings, intermediary hood support brackets are included to prevent lid deflection and ensure long-term stability of the enclosure:

  • Inside Face Fit: Fitted to the internal brickwork face behind the opening. Keeps the guides and top box concealed behind the reveals to maximise clear drive-through width and height.
  • Inbetween the Opening (Reveal Fit): Fitted between the structural opening piers and directly under the lintel. The full hood neatly encloses the roll from both inside and outside.
  • Inside Face Fit with Centre Hood Support: For wider openings installed behind the piers, an intermediate upper support bracket is supplied to anchor the full hood box firmly to the lintel, eliminating cover flex.
  • Inbetween Opening with Centre Hood Support: For wider reveal-fixed installations, an overhead intermediate bracket secures the box directly to the underside of the lintel for complete cover rigidity.

* As a rule of thumb, wider doors spanning over 3000mm benefit from intermediate hood supports to brace the box profile across the span.

7. Optional External Low-Level Manual Override System

Every door comes with an internal manual crank handle for power failures. However, if your garage has no separate pedestrian access door or connecting integral house door, you must order an external manual release system:

  • This heavy-duty, lockable low-level keyed disconnect allows you to disengage the motor and wind the door open from the outside using a crank handle if the power fails.
  • The external release is installed on the same side as your motor selection.
  • Supplied as standard to pass through brickwork walls up to 500mm thick (the 7mm hex drive shaft can be extended on site if passing through deeper reveals).

8. Optional Alarm Kit for the SeceuroSense Plus Control Panel

For standard SeceuroSense Plus systems, you can add an optional plug-in acoustic alarm card. Housed directly inside the internal wall control panel, this sensor triggers an ear-piercing siren if forced lifting or tampering is detected at the bottom of the door when closed.

9. Upgrade to Somfy Electric Motor Drive & Somfy Rollixo Premium IO Control Panel

Upgrade your complete drive package to Somfy’s flagship IO-homecontrol platform:

  • Built-In 100dB Tamper Alarm: Housed directly inside the Rollixo panel, sounding immediately if the curtain is forced upward.
  • Real-Time Door Status Feedback: Two-way communication confirms whether the garage door is fully open, closed, or partially positioned directly on your smartphone app or multi-channel remote.
  • Smart Home Ready: Seamlessly pairs with the Somfy TaHoma switch hub and Somfy smart apps for automated routines, voice assistant control, and remote access from anywhere.
  • Transmitters Included: Supplied with 2 x Somfy Keygo 4-channel IO keyfob transmitters as standard.

SeceuroGlide LT 'Vision' (Full Hood) Technical Specification

The SeceuroGlide LT 'Vision' is engineered by SWS UK to combine electric automated convenience, thermal insulation, and an enclosed aluminium full hood box with natural daylight illumination. Designed specifically for garages without windows or separate light sources, this model lets daylight filter inside while maintaining full compliance with UK safety standards.

Vision Glazed Slat Arrangement & Specification

As standard, the SeceuroGlide LT 'Vision' model is manufactured with three consecutive rows of vision glazed slats positioned near the top of the curtain, situated exactly one solid slat down from the top. This optimal positioning allows maximum natural light to enter the garage overhead while keeping internal storage areas private and secure from ground-level sightlines.

  • Extruded Aluminium Vision Profiles: Unlike standard hollow or foam-filled slats, the vision profiles are precision-extruded from heavy-duty aluminium sections to maintain curtain rigidity and strength across the door span.
  • Durable Polycarbonate Glazing: Each aperture is fitted with impact-resistant, clear polycarbonate glazing inserts designed to withstand everyday weathering and accidental knocks without shattering.
  • Aperture Pattern: Glazed vision cut-outs can be supplied in either an in-line layout or an attractive brick-bond pattern across the width of the curtain.
  • Profile Finishes: On standard painted or powder-coated doors, the vision profiles are factory finished to match the curtain. On woodgrain finish doors, vision slat profiles are supplied in a complementary brown finish.
  • Thermal Note: While the surrounding 77mm slats are double-skinned and polyurethane foam-filled for thermal insulation, vision slats are single-layer glazed sections designed primarily for daylight ingress.

Guide Channels and Sizing Guidelines

The SeceuroGlide LT Roller doors have 75mm guides on doors up to 3000mm overall width, and 90mm guides for all doors over 3000mm overall width. These extruded aluminium guide channels come in white or brown as standard, lined with dense brush pile to stop draughts and ensure smooth, quiet curtain travel.

The 'up to' sizes referred to in the pricing are the overall door and guide width sizes including the side guides, and the guide height required without the full hood box above:

  • Sizing Example: To price a door for a clear opening 2300mm wide and 2200mm high installed on the inside face of the garage opening, you need to specify a door 2450mm over guides (2300mm opening + 2 x 75mm guides) and 2200mm in guide height. For pricing, use the 'Up to 2600mm' bracket for the width and 'Up to 2200mm' for the height.
  • Full Hood Dimensions: The full aluminium hood box measures 300mm x 300mm and sits directly above the guide height, requiring 300mm of clear headroom above your ordering height.

What Is Included as Standard

  • Three Rows of Polycarbonate Glazed Vision Slats: Positioned one slat down from the top of the curtain for natural overhead lighting.
  • Insulated Aluminium Curtain: 77mm double-skinned, CFC-free foam-filled aluminium slats on the remainder of the door for strength and thermal protection.
  • Full Aluminium Hood Enclosure: Completely encloses the curtain coil and drive mechanism, protecting the slats from dust and providing a clean, neat appearance from both inside and outside.
  • SeceuroDrive High-Torque Motor: High-performance tubular motor mounted inside the axle barrel for reliable daily operation.
  • SeceuroSense Control Panel with Courtesy Light: Wall-mounted receiver box with push-button controls, diagnostic LEDs, and an integrated timed bulkhead courtesy light to illuminate your garage when arriving at night.
  • Two Remote Transmitters: 2 x rolling-code handheld transmitters for secure, encrypted wireless operation from inside your car.
  • Bottom Slat Optical Safety Edge: Fully compliant optical bottom edge sensor and heavy-duty rubber seal that stops and reverses immediately upon encountering an obstruction.
  • Internal Emergency Manual Crank: Direct manual winding handle and eyelet so you are never locked in during a power cut.
  • Anti-Drop Protection: Doors weighing over 26.5kg are supplied with a wireless safety brake to prevent the curtain from dropping in the event of motor failure. Doors weighing under 26.5kg are fitted with an adjustable dummy end shaft.
  • Secure Auto-Locking: SWS locking strap mechanism secures the curtain down firmly when closed, preventing forced lifting from the outside.
  • Vacation Mode: Built into the transmitter and receiver to lock the control panel buttons when you are away on holiday, preventing internal tampering.
  • Made to Measure: Precision factory-manufactured down to your exact millimetre dimensions at no extra charge.

Fitting Positions and Installation Versatility

The SeceuroGlide LT 'Vision' with Full Hood can be installed in two primary positions:

  • Behind the Opening (Inside Face Fit): Fitted to the inside brickwork face behind the opening for maximum drive-through width and height. Because the door rolls up vertically without swinging out or tracking back into the garage ceiling, this setup is ideal for 4x4 vehicles and large family cars.
  • Between the Opening (Reveal Fit): Fitted directly between the piers and under the lintel where internal side or headroom clearances are restricted. The full hood neatly protects and conceals the roll mechanism on both sides.
  • External Face Fit: While internal installation is standard, the full hood allows the door to be fitted to the outside face of the building if internal space is unavailable. * Note: Fitting externally will cause the motor handing and curtain orientation to be reversed.

Optional Accessories & Custom Upgrades

  • External Low-Level Manual Release: An essential requirement for internally installed doors where there is no secondary door into the garage. Passes through masonry walls up to 500mm thick as standard (7mm hex bar extendable on site for thicker walls) to allow manual operation from outside during power cuts.
  • Somfy Rollixo Premium IO Package: Upgrades the motor to a Somfy drive with the Rollixo IO panel, featuring a built-in 100dB tamper alarm and real-time status feedback via the Somfy TaHoma smart home app.
  • SeceuroSense Alarm Module: Optional plug-in siren board housed inside the SeceuroSense receiver to detect forced lifting at the bottom of the door.

SeceuroGlide LT Vision - Installation Guidance

Fitting a SeceuroGlide LT roller garage door is well within the capability of an experienced tradesperson or competent DIYer. Because this model is supplied without a full hood box, careful initial setup of the guide channels, endplates, and axle barrel is essential to ensure a smooth, level roll and reliable safety edge operation.

1. Pre-Installation Checks and Tolerances

Before unpacking the door components, verify the opening structure and dimensions:

  • Floor Levelness: Check the garage threshold with a long spirit level. The floor must be reasonably level across the full opening width. An uneven threshold prevents the bottom rubber seal and optical safety edge from seating squarely, which can trigger nuisance reversals when closing.
  • Structural Soundness: Ensure the brickwork piers and lintel are flat, plumb, and free of obstructions (such as conduit, alarm sensors, or gas meters). The fixing face must support the weight of the assembly and the operating motor torque.
  • Headroom and Pier Clearances: Confirm you have a minimum of 300mm clear headroom above the guide height for the coiled curtain roll, along with at least 75mm (or 90mm for doors over 3000mm wide) on each internal pier to mount the guide channels.

2. Assembling the Frame and Securing the Endplates

Building the structural frame square is the most critical stage of the installation:

  • Slot Guides onto Endplates: Lay the extruded guide channels flat on clean cardboard or dust sheets. Slot the legs of the cast aluminium endplates directly into the tops of the side guides.
  • Check Diagonals for Squareness: Lift the assembled guide and endplate frame into position against the internal brickwork opening. Use a tape measure to check diagonally from the top corner of one endplate to the opposite bottom corner of the guide. Both diagonal measurements must match exactly.
  • Fixing into Masonry: Plumb both guides vertically with a spirit level and clamp them into place. Drill and plug through the pre-drilled fixing holes into solid masonry using suitable heavy-duty fixings. * Never fix solely into cosmetic plasterboard or crumbling mortar joints.

3. Mounting the Axle Barrel and Adjusting the LT Dummy End

The axle assembly carries the motor at one end and the anti-drop assembly or dummy shaft at the other:

  • Lift Axle onto Endplates: Secure the motor head into its dedicated mounting bracket on your chosen drive side endplate, ensuring the manual override eyelet faces forward or downward for easy hook engagement.
  • Adjust the LT Dummy Shaft: Unlike standard spring-assisted doors, the LT relies on a direct-drive dummy end on the non-motor side. The internal shaft allows width adjustment to seat the axle accurately between the endplates. This shaft is intentionally stiff to pull on initial adjustment; once shifted, it moves freely into position and drops into the support bracket bearing.
  • Safety Brake Alignment (Doors over 26.5kg): If your door is supplied with a wireless safety brake, ensure it is seated level and locked correctly onto the dummy endplate bearing before hanging the curtain.

4. Hanging the Insulated Curtain and Setting Autolocks

Take care when unwrapping the curtain to avoid scratching the powder-coated or woodgrain finish on the floor:

  • Feeding into Guides: With the axle secured and motor limits roughly positioned, carefully feed the top edge of the curtain over the barrel and guide the side edges down into the brush-lined channels.
  • Attaching Locking Straps: Connect the heavy-duty auto-locking straps evenly spaced across the top slat into the axle collar slots.
  • Setting the Down-Locking Position: When the door is fully closed, the locking straps should form a slight downward 'knuckle' angle against the barrel. This mechanical angle clamps the curtain firmly down, preventing anyone from levering the door open from outside.

5. Commissioning the Motor, Safety Edge, and Controls

Once mechanically hung, wire the control panel and complete the final safety setup:

  • Mounting the Control Unit: Fix the SeceuroSense or Somfy Rollixo receiver panel to an internal wall at approximately chest height, within reach of a standard 13-amp domestic power socket.
  • Setting Limit Stops: Set the mechanical or digital motor limits so the curtain stops neatly at the top (leaving the bottom slat resting just below the top of the guides) and seals firmly against the floor at the bottom without over-compressing the locking straps.
  • Optical Safety Edge Testing: Pair the wireless transmitter in the bottom rubber seal with the receiver board. Test the safety system by placing a 50mm timber block on the floor beneath the door path. On making contact, the door must immediately stop and reverse upward.
  • Emergency Override Test: Disconnect the mains power and test the manual crank handle to confirm the door can be wound open smoothly by hand in the event of a power failure.

* If you fitted an optional external low-level manual release, test key operation from the outside to confirm the hex bar turns the motor gearbox freely before leaving the site.

Details on the SeceuroDrive Motor Limit Setting Instructions can be watched here.

Please Note: Important Information when installing the Seceuroglide LT Roller Doors.

In the absence of the spring we apply an LT dummy end. This has an adjustable shaft in it. This is designed to be moved so the axle becomes the right size. This is stiff to pull but once its moved it moves freely. This then slots in to the bracket as normal.

For  doors which have been supplied with a dummy end, the bearing will no longer be welded to the end.   Instead, the bearing will now be located within the accessory box and will need to be installed manually.

To install the bearing, simply slide the bearing ontl the end of the dummy end shaft.

Straightforward Maintenance Requirements

To keep your SeceuroGlide warranty fully valid, your door simply requires basic, sensible care:

  • Keep Guide Channels Clear: Periodically wipe out the aluminium side guides and brush pile strips with a damp cloth to clear away grit, salt deposits, and debris. Do not apply heavy grease or oil to the brush strips.
  • Wash the Curtain Finish: Clean the outside face of the aluminium slats every few months with warm soapy water (car shampoo works well) and a soft cloth, especially in coastal areas where airborne salt can accumulate.
  • Maintain Threshold Clearance: Ensure the floor beneath the door remains free of stones, ice build-up, and leaf litter so the optical safety edge and rubber seal seat flat and true on every closure cycle.

* Always register your door serial number with SWS UK following installation to activate your extended manufacturer warranty records.

How to Measure for Your SeceuroGlide Roller Door

When ordering a SeceuroGlide roller garage door, getting your measurements right from the start avoids delays and guarantees a clean fit. Use this guide alongside our 3D dimension drawing to identify exactly what to measure and how to specify your ordering sizes.

* SWS manufacture your door to the exact millimetre sizes you enter at checkout. The online ordering sizes always refer to the Overall Width (including side guide channels) and the Guide Height (floor to underside of the endplates/hood box), not the opening hole size.

Understanding the Key Ordering Dimensions

Dimension Reference What It Refers To How to Calculate It
Ordering Width (Over-Guide Width) The total outside width from outer edge of left guide to outer edge of right guide. Behind opening: Clear Daylight Width + both guide widths (2 x 75mm or 2 x 90mm).
Between opening: Exact clear opening width minus 10mm fitting tolerance.
Ordering Height (Guide Height) The height from the finished floor to the underside of the endplates (or hood box). Behind opening: Clear Daylight Opening Height (floor to underside of lintel).
Between opening: Total height to underside of lintel minus 300mm for the box/endplate roll.
Headroom (Roll & Box Clearance) Clear vertical clearance required above the guide channels. Requires 300mm vertical clearance above the guide height for the coiled curtain roll on endplates (or within the full hood box).
Side Room (Internal Piers) Flat face width required on each internal pier to fix the side guides. Requires a minimum flat return of 75mm per side (or 90mm per side on doors wider than 3000mm over-guide).

Option A: Installing Behind the Opening (Inside Face Fit – Recommended)

Fitting behind the brickwork piers gives you the greatest drive-through width and clearance height:

  • Measure the Daylight Width: Measure the clear distance between the internal faces of your brick piers at top, middle, and bottom. Use the narrowest measurement.
  • Calculate Over-Guide Width: Add the two guide widths to your daylight opening width. For doors up to 3000mm wide using 75mm guides, add 150mm (e.g., 2300mm opening + 150mm = 2450mm Ordering Width). Ensure you have at least 75mm of flat pier face on each side inside the garage.
  • Measure Daylight Height (Guide Height): Measure from the finished floor to the underside of your lintel at both sides. If the floor is level, this measurement is your Guide Ordering Height.
  • Check Your Headroom: Confirm you have a minimum of 300mm of unobstructed headroom above the underside of the lintel inside the garage to accommodate the curtain roll or full hood box.

Option B: Installing Inbetween the Opening (Reveal Fit)

Used when internal headroom or side pier space is limited, fixing directly between the reveals:

  • Measure the Width Between Reveals: Measure between the brickwork opening at three heights (top, middle, bottom). Take the smallest figure and subtract a 10mm fitting tolerance (5mm per side) to arrive at your Over-Guide Ordering Width. This ensures the frame fits cleanly between rough or out-of-plumb brickwork.
  • Calculate Guide Ordering Height: Measure from the finished floor to the underside of the lintel. Deduct 300mm (the height of the endplates/hood box) to calculate your Guide Ordering Height. The remaining space below the box becomes your clear drive-through height.

Essential Measuring Tips Before Finalising Your Order

  • Check the Floor Level: Place a long spirit level across the threshold. The optical safety edge and bottom weather seal need a reasonably level floor across the entire opening to bed down correctly without triggering false safety reversals.
  • Inspect the Lintel and Ceiling Depth: Check back into the garage for at least 350mm behind the lintel to ensure no ceiling joists, light fittings, gas pipes, or roof trusses clash with the overhead curtain roll or full hood enclosure.
  • Double-Check Sideroom Obstructions: Confirm the internal pier surfaces are clear of consumer units, surface-mounted conduit, or shelving where the guide channels and fixing angles will mount.

* If your opening is out of square or you are unsure which dimensions apply to your 3D drawing, contact our team with your measurements before ordering and we will gladly verify your ordering sizes.
