GDO SmartRoll 77 Remote and Smartphone Control (18 Premium Colours) Insulated Roller door Aluminium GDO

The GDO ROLL 77 is constructed from high quality 77mm deep double skinned aluminium slats with a foam filled core. It is a made to measure, electric operated roller garage door as standard, made to the exact millimetre in width and height.

The door is electrically remote operated as standard and incorporates an internal emergency manual release in case of a power failure. This is a winding process using a winding handle provided attaching via a hook to the eye of the motor drive. This can be specified as either on the left or right as viewed from inside the garage.

The door is supplied with 2 Somfy RTS remote handsets and an internal wall mounted control panel with inbuilt receiver for the remote controls.  The Genesis wall mounted control system dimensions are 140mm h x 120mm w x 50mm d.

The bottom slat is extruded and supplied fitted with a rubber seal system incorporating an infra red beam internally. Any obstacle is detected when the door is operating and the door will instantly stop to prevent damage or injury.

The curtain of this door rolls around a steel barrel which is supported either side by steel endplates which have a dimension of 300mm x 300mm, which is the headroom required if you wish to hide the roll. Always allow for a maximum 50mm of curtain ‘hang down’ when the door is opened if the opening height is critical to you. This is the same on all roller garage doors.

This is the full hood cover version of the ROLL 77 offering a completely enclosed curtain and barrel for additonal weather protection and an aluminium fascia because you don't have the full headroom required in your garage internally, or you are installing inbetween your structural opening. The full hood ensures the best protection of your door curtain and the best sealing against wind and rain.

Door guides either side are either 75mm or 90mm wide and 34mm deep and the door is ordered using the ‘OVERGUIDE’ width from the total width of the curtain and guides combined.

The door can be fitted BEHIND or INBETWEEN the structural opening as required, but always check you have ordered the correct dimensions to take into account the guides and endplates (full hood cover if ordered is the same dimensions)

Fitting Positions
> Between the opening
> Behind the opening (for maximum width and height). This gives it the freedom to be fitted in the most complex locations regardless of the shape of the garage opening. Single and double garage door sizes are catered for meaning almost all requirements can be met. This makes it highly practical for owners of 4x4 vehicles or similar cars of a large nature who otherwise find problems driving into their garage. This installation style can be used to install the door externally, however, this will cause the motor handing and curtain to be reversed.

Ordering size is the Over Guide Width (OGW) x Guide Height (GH).

Doors up to 3000mm wide will have 75mm wide guides either side

Clear opening height = Guide height (Ordering size) less 50mm

Doors over 3000mm wide will have 90mm wide guides either side
Clear opening width = Ordering size less 180mm
Clear opening height = Guide height (Ordering size) less 50mm
(to allow for the bottom slat hang-down into the guide when door is open)

Maximum Width including guides is 5200mm

Maximum Height for guides is 2900mm (Total of 3200mm with the endplates and hood) with a maximum width of 4600mm
