Roller door - insulated Aluminium GEAR TYPE: Roller Shutter

NEW - Now with upgraded locking system as standard.
New stronger, auto-lock straps and collars offer enhanced security and durability.  See image carousel for further details.

The Seceuroglide Compact Roller Door with the SeceuroSense Plus control unit utilises an insulated aluminium slat that is significantly narrower than those featured on the Seceuroglide Classic range. This allows a tighter, smaller coil requiring just 8” (205mm) of headroom. This means you can enjoy the luxuries of the automatic SeceuroGlide roller doors, even if you have limited headroom available.

The Compact door can be fitted in front or behind the garage opening, or even within the garage opening itself.

Full Box / Full Hood
For an extra neat finish, the Seceuroglide Compact Roller Doors are manufactured with a full box which fully conceals the roll and internal mechanism. They are supplied in white or brown as standard, or optionally colour matched for an additional charge.

  • SeceuroDrive electric motor and SeceuroSense receiver included as standard
  • 7 year warranty
  • Suitable for fitting in front or behind opening with full hood to conceal roll
  • 18 on-trend colour options included

New: SeceuroGlide garage doors now come with a SeceuroDrive motor as standard, and a 7 year warranty on the motor. The SeceuroSense receiver now comes with a 7 year warranty.

Headroom can sometimes be a problem for full sized roller doors, so the Seceuroglide Compact has been designed by SWS especially for garages with severely limited space above the opening.
The Compact utilises an insulated double skin aluminium slat that is significantly narrower than the standard Seceuroglide. This allows a tighter, smaller coil requiring a total of just 8" (205mm) of headroom.

The versatile Compact can be fitted in front of or behind the garage opening or even inbetween if required. The Full Box provides a complete hood cover for the roll, protecting it, neatening the installation, and rendering it completelty self-supporting - meaning that even if you have no headroom the Compact can still be an option. The full box (and guides) comes powder coated in White or Brown as standard, but you have the option to upgrade to a colour finish to match your door curtain should you wish.

The long wearing powder coated finish is White as standard, but available in 10 other beautiful colours at no extra cost. The standard finishes are; White, Brown, Fir Green, Navy Blue, Anthracite Grey, Black, Burgundy, Light Beige, Ivory, Light Grey and Silver Metallic. The colour finish is on both the front and back of the door and is extremely low maintenance - it can simply be wiped clean if necessary.

Standard package:
Each door is supplied as standard with a SeceuroSense receiver with built in courtesy light, your choice of two key fobs an optical safety edge and an internal manual override.

Please Note: Bi-Directional Remote Controls - if you have two or more garage doors to operate you will require one handset per door. The Bi-Directional remote controls have 4 buttons, but 3 buttons are needed per door, 1-open, 2-close and 3-ASK.
It may be best to buy any of the standard remote control handsets if you have two or more doors to operate.

Courtesy Light:
Making your garage a safer place when parking at night SeceuroGlide utilises the tried and tested SeceuroSense Plus control unit, which combines a courtesy light with both remote and push control functions.

SeceuroSense Plus Control Unit
> Limit setting direct from the board through built-in test lead for ease of installation.
> Long lasting LED courtesy light.
> Available with wired or wireless safety edge.
> No more need for magnets with built-in ground exclusion.
> Improved cable and panel access points allow neater and more efficient installations and repairs.
> Clear fault diagnosis on front cover with LED indicator lights.
> Integral alarm available as an optional extra, housed within the board.
> Seperate lighting feed (up to 300W) integral to the board.
> Ability to programme modes without the need to remove the front cover.

Domestic use automated roller garage door. Specifically where garage headroom is limited and the maximum opening height is important.

Security and resistance to high winds
Despite being slimmer than standard SeceuroGlide doors, Compacts also offer excellent security against intruders, combining a sturdy locking system, rolling code remote control technology and tough extruded aluminium, independently tested to a minimum Class 2 wind resistance classification, which is equivalent to 59mph winds (Force 10 Storm).

The Drive Through Width (DTW) when using 60mm guides is equivalent to
Over Guide Width (OGW) minus 120mm.
The Drive Through Height is equivalent to 50mm less than the Guide Height.

Vision slats are NOT available on the Compact.
> Please note the SeceuroGlide Compact will NOT require an anti-fall back device.
> The minimum ordering width for SeceuroGlide Compact is 1050mm over guides.
> SeceuroGlide Compact internal comes with a half box 90° facia as standard.
> SeceuroGlide Compact external comes supplied with a ‘full box’.
> The Compact is a lower security design than the standard SeceuroGlide and is
unsuitable for exposed locations - other products are available for this application - ask for details.
> Guides and head plates are supplied powder coated as standard. Black doors are supplied with white box and guide rails, however Black powder coated finish is available at an extra charge
> Remote control also available with a pre-wired RCD for a surcharge.
> To ensure compliance with the Construction Products Directive SeceuroGlide
Compact must be installed with either a SeceuroSmart remote control or a ‘hold-to run’ switch or key switch.
> We recommend the use of photo cells in addition to the standard bottom slat sensor in garages where a vehicle will be parked close to the door. Where a door opens directly onto a pavement or in a public area, a combination of bottom slat sensor and photocells is a statutory requirement.
> Unless requested otherwise, when installed internally, tubular motors will be fitted on the left hand side of each door (when viewed from inside the garage looking out). Alternatively, unless requested otherwise, when installed externally, tubular motors will be fitted on theleft hand side of each door (when viewed from outside the garage looking in).
> Marking may occur at the top of the concave (coil) side of the curtain over time.
This is unavoidable and due to prolonged contact with the locking system.
> SeceuroGlide Compact Mahogany and Golden oak textured woodgrain doors are supplied with matching bottom slats and brown inner face, guides, end plates and half box as standard.

Full installation details are supplied with every door, or they can be downloaded from our website.

All SeceuroGlide products are guaranteed against defect of material or workmanship by SWS UK with a parts only warranty, subject to correct installation, maintenance and operation, for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.

Our standard SeceuroDrive motor carries a 7 year warranty (subject to registration) (including Excel, Classic and Compact only).
If a SeceuroDrive Motor is paired with a SeceuroSense receiver it will also be eligible for a 7 year warranty.

In addition, Rosewood, Mahogany, Golden Oak, White, Black/Brown and our full range of Renolit wood effect finishes carry a limited 10 year guarantee.

Ordering Details

Seceuroglide Compact roller doors are ordered just like the standard Seceuroglide with the width being ordered as the Overall Guide Width and the guides are always 60mm each side. The ordering height is the Guide Height which is the height of the side guides excluding the roll/endplates which is always 205mm on a Compact roller door.

Example:  A 2350mm wide x 2100mm high order size will give you a door opening size of 2230mm wide and an overall height of 2305mm with the roll/endplates and hood if applicable.
