Using the most popular size of double walled aluminium insulated slats this roller door is a robust design but very simple operation method using only a hold to run internal wall mounted control panel. Press and hold one button for open and one button for closing, that is it.

The side channel guides are either 70mm or 90mm depending on the door width ordered.
Doors over 3000mm wide will have 90mm guides as standard so the clear opening width will be 180mm less than the ordering width.
The door curtain is available in 3 very popular and striking colours with white, black or anthracite guides and hood when ordered, but also available in another 18 premium colours for a small surcharge.
The door also has an internal manual winding handle system to operate in the event of a power failure. Optional low level manual override is available if you do not have another access door into your garage. If you don’t have another access however you also should consider the external wall mounted key switch to operate the door from outside normally…This full hood cover model provides the ultimate protection at all times with the curtain roll and mechanism enclosed in an aluminium 4 sides hood which is available in 3 standard colours or the same colour as the curtain choice for additional cost.
The ‘half hood’ version of this roller door has a folded aluminium hood cover which forms a front facia when fitting behind or inbetween any opening to give a neat finish and better sealing when closed.The hood cover is fitted to the endplates on either side of the roller barrel which the curtain rolls around.

The GDO ROLL 77 is constructed from high quality 77mm deep double skinned aluminium slats with a foam filled core. It is a made to measure, electric operated roller garage door as standard, made to the exact millimetre in width and height.
The door is electrically operated as standard and incorporates an internal emergency manual release in case of a power failure. This is a winding process using a winding handle provided attaching via a hook to the eye of the motor drive. This can be specified as either on the left or right as viewed from inside the garage.
The curtain of this door rolls around a steel barrel which is supported either side by steel endplates which have a dimension of 300mm x 300mm, which is the headroom required if you wish to hide the roll. Always allow for a maximum 50mm of curtain ‘hang down’ when the door is opened if the opening height is critical to you. This is the same on all roller garage doors.

Door guides either side are either 70mm or 90mm wide and 34mm deep and the door is ordered using the ‘OVERGUIDE’ width from the total width of the curtain and guides combined.
The door can be fitted BEHIND or INBETWEEN the structural opening as required, but always check you have ordered the correct dimensions to take into account the guides and endplates (full hood cover if ordered is the same dimensions)

(for maximum width and height). This gives it the freedom to be fitted in the most complex locations regardless of the shape of the garage opening. Single and double garage door sizes are catered for meaning almost all requirements can be met. This makes it highly practical for owners of 4x4 vehicles or similar cars of a large nature who otherwise find problems driving into their garage. This installation style can be used to install the door externally, however, this will cause the motor handing and curtain to be reversed.
